All joking aside, I was thrilled to have her on my team. My work presents better than ever before thanks to her eye for subtlety and what's working.
A few notes about the process
- I sent nearly 1000 images to Melissa to consider.
- I printed the images myself on my Epson R2000 printer. I considered hiring a printer to print on a HP Indigo Digital press, but after looking at samples, I decided they just didn't compare to my Epson. (I heart you, Epson)
- Brewer-Cantelmo in NYC made my covers. The process with my rep was smooth, but I rejected the first books they delivered as the stamp was butt-ugly. After going back and forth a few times, and changing my stamp color the new books are gorgeous.
- The books are 116 pages and are hefty! I love them.
And here are a few more images to give you a taste...
