With spring promising to arrive any moment, and having just wrapped shooting our 13 episode web series for PBS Parents, the family has been itching to get outside. One of our favorite places to spend a lazy day is walking around Frederick, Maryland.
Jen and I were married and lived there for a time. It's a beautiful colonial city with great shops, restaurants, and fantastic architecture. Many folks wander up to Frederick for the antiquing. We aren't really "antiquers" per se—we rarely ever buy anything—but we do love the aimless shopping and looking for nothing in particular.
We love Great Stuff By Paul*. It's one of Martha Stewart's favorite stops when in the area. You can find anything from an old french map, to 8' tall doors from an old tibetan monastery. Yeah, a pretty wide variety of stuff.
It was really good to be out again.
*Great Stuff By Paul has two locations. Make sure to check out both of them to see the widest variety of stuff.
